The State Budget of Cameroon for the 2026 financial year aims to revive economic momentum and strengthen the inclusive nature of growth, ensure the commissioning of major first-generation projects, continue the implementation of reconstruction plans and programs for crisis-affected regions, particularly the North-West, South-West and Far North and reinforce measures to combat inflation. In this regard, it aligns with the continued implementation of the National Development Strategy 2020–2030 (NDS30), while taking into account both the global and national economic environment.

To achieve these objectives, the Government relies in particular on projected tax and customs revenues. -The 2026 Finance Law, which has been adopted, introduces several innovations, including the implementation of new tax and customs measures, the alignment of legislation with the digitalization of procedures, the strengthening of taxpayers’ guarantee rights during first-time registration, economic support measures for vulnerable persons, the reduction of certain tax rates, the reinforcement of tax incentives supporting private investment and job creation, the improvement of tax education and communication, and the consolidation of the reform of the annual summary declaration for individuals.

In order to enable you to better manage tax and financial risks related to the widening of the tax base and the increased tax burden, and to fully benefit from the new tax incentives introduced by the legislator, DM & Partners, member of HLB ACP Central Africa, is organizing, as part of its activities, a training and information seminar on the following theme:

“Finance Law 2026: Between Optimal Revenue Mobilization and Tax Relief.”

This seminar will be held on Thursday, 29 January 2026, at the André Siaka Amphitheatre, GECAM Headquarters Building in Douala, and on Thursday, 5 February 2026, at the Djeuga Palace Hotel in Yaoundé.

On the occasion of this seminar, we will provide our clients with a USB flash drive, which will notably include the following documents in English and/or French:

Law No. 2025/012 of 17 December 2025, Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2026 financial year;

Financial Law 2025 Circular of the Director General of Taxation, detailing the modalities for implementing the tax provisions of Law No. 2025/012 of 17 December 2025;

The 2026 General Tax Code, updated by our firm as of 1 January 2026.
